Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education and the Department of Industry and Information Technology jointly announced the first batch of provincial-level university student internship and training bases. The Jiangsu factory was successfully selected as one of only 20 units approved across the province, making it the sole qualified enterprise in Yancheng City.
The internship base, jointly established by the School of Information Engineering at Yancheng Institute of Technology, Changzhou University, and Yancheng Normal University, aims to integrate corporate resources and provide high-quality practical training platforms for university students. This initiative advances industry-education collaboration and supports the cultivation of urgently needed industry professionals.
In fact, the Jiangsu factory has long pioneered industry-education integration. In March 2022, it was jointly designated as a "Fourth-Batch Industry-Education Integration Pilot Enterprise" by the Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Department of Education, and Department of Human Resources and Social Security, and was included in the provincial enterprise cultivation repository. Over the years, the factory has forged deep partnerships with institutions including the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Changzhou University, Yancheng Normal University, and Yancheng Institute of Technology. On January 2, 2025, Ding Cheng, Vice President of Yancheng Institute of Technology, led a delegation to the factory for a special "Enterprise Visits to Expand Job Opportunities" campaign and party-building collaboration activities. Both parties conducted in-depth discussions on constructing the provincial internship base, laying solid groundwork for this approval.
This accreditation carries significant meaning. It provides university students with premium practical platforms, promotes industry-academia synergy, and cultivates application-oriented talent; It enables the acquisition of cutting-edge technologies through collaboration, driving corporate innovation for mutual benefit.
Moving forward, the Jiangsu factory will leverage this milestone to deepen university-enterprise cooperation, optimize base construction and management, and contribute robustly to both industry-education integration and Jiangsu’s Manufacturing Powerhouse Strategy.
