Amid the fervor of July, Party flags wave high. On the day commemorating the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Wang Yu, Party Branch Secretary of the Jiangsu plant, led all Party members to the Yancheng New Fourth Army Memorial Hall to carry out the educational activity themed "Red Hearts Devoted to the Party, Sparks of Kindness Illuminating the World."
As a national patriotic education base, the Yancheng New Fourth Army Memorial Hall comprehensively showcases the glorious history of the New Fourth Army during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. Guided by docents, Party members toured each exhibition hall in sequence. Precious artifacts, historical photographs, and detailed archival materials on display vividly recreated the heroic deeds of the New Fourth Army’s bloody struggles to defend the homeland. Members listened attentively to stories of heroism, revisited the fiery years of war, and deeply reflected on the revolutionary forebears’ unyielding faith and selfless dedication.
Following the tour, Party members moved to the memorial hall’s visitor center. There, they fulfilled the original aspiration and mission of Communist Party members through practical action—cleaning the environment as a special "birthday gift" for the Party. Working collaboratively, they wiped down tables and chairs, swept floors, organized items, and left no corner untouched. Despite the sweltering heat and sweat-drenched clothes, their enthusiasm and dedication remained high. Through their efforts, the visitor center was revitalized, providing a clean and comfortable environment for visitors.
This activity integrated revolutionary education with volunteer service, offering Party members not only a profound lesson in revolutionary tradition but also igniting their sense of responsibility and mission. Members unanimously expressed their commitment to draw inspiration from revolutionary predecessors, carry forward the revolutionary spirit, and remain true to the Party’s founding purpose.
